Celebrating Black History Through Play

Black History Month is a time to recognize and celebrate Black achievements and contributions throughout history. This year we chose to celebrate through play! Although play is universal, few retailers and manufacturers carry selections of toys and books that allow Black children to see positive representations of themselves. That's why our Infant & Toddler teaching team came together to curate a collection of children’s toys that reflect the beauty and diversity of the African diaspora. By stocking the playroom with toys that celebrate the black experience, our kids' pretend world looks a little more like the real world around them. Check out the toys that were featured during our week-long social media campaign and congratulations to our daily winners!
