Welcome Back to School

The CFEC kicked off another great year with our school partners - The Children's Center and The Special Children's School - at the end of August. In addition, The Children's Center welcomed a new principal - Shannon Boles - to the team. Shannon previously served in principal roles at Pinnacle Elementary, Poplar Springs Elementary, King Elementary, and Walnut Cove Elementary and also as assistant principal at West Stokes High School and South Stokes High School. The Children's Center theme for the year is "Remember You Why" and Sandra Gilmer, who returns as the principal at The Special Children's School, is using a "Power Up... You've Got the Power" theme for her team. Stay tuned for more posts about programs this year - and as always - we would love for you to get involved.
