TSCS Welcomes Miniature Horses to Campus

The Special Children's School kicked off its multi-week series with Riverwood Therapeutic Riding Center (RTRC) when Candy and Midnight, two miniature horses, visited our campus. Candy and Midnight are special ambassadors for Riverwood as they travel with the  Mobile Education Outreach trailer. The small size and gentle personality of these horses make them a perfect fit for our students. While on campus, students have the opportunity to brush the horses and also learn from the certified instructors about how to care for and interact with the animals.
