Playground Makeover!

We are so grateful to the brothers of Sigma Pi - Alpha-Nu at Wake Forest for spending a big part of their Saturday with us to add fun movement-based games to two of our playgrounds. "Our students love the new colorful playground activities," said Shana Heilbron, CFEC's Director of Development and Marketing. "We believe these interactive games and designs will inspire our kids to learn and move while outdoors." About a year ago the CFEC team began working with teachers and principals at The Children's Center and The Special Children's School to identify the outdoor locations for the developmentally appropriate stencil games. To date, we have updated four of our seven outdoor play spaces and plan to complete the remaining areas in the next few months with the help of local volunteers.
