Cannon Grant Supports New Roof

Environment is important to learning.  If children and staff have access to high-quality facilities they are able to concentrate on what is most critical:  teaching and learning.  CFEC strives to ensure that we maintain our high-quality facilities through timely completion of necessary capital improvement projects.  Our capital project goals for this year include replacing the 2001 wing roof of The Children’s Center, installing two roof-top HVAC and controls at The Children’s Center and installing Needle-Point Bipolar Ionization (NPBI) at The Children’s Center and The Special Children’s School. The NPBI projects were completed in December, and thanks to a generous capital grant from The Cannon Foundation, the roof and HVAC projects at the Children's Center will be completed over the summer.
